How do I book a charter?
You can call our Sales Office at (859) 292-8687, and a cruise coordinator will be happy to help you book and customize your event.
Can I book additional cruise time?
Yes, additional cruise time may be available depending on the availability of the vessel. The cost of additional cruise time depends on which vessel you have chartered. Inform the Captain if you wish to extend your cruise.
What time do the boats cruise?
You tell us what time you would like to cruise. Our vessels are available 24 hours a day, March thru December when not otherwise booked. Contact our Sales Office to reserve your preferred date and time.
Do you have a minimum number of guests?
No, our Sales Office can price for parties of any size.
Where do the boats cruise?
Where your cruise will take you is dependent on your cruise time and river conditions. Typically, our cruises depart our harbor in Dayton, Kentucky and cruise upriver approximately 1-4 miles, then turn around and cruise downriver toward Downtown Cincinnati. We will turn around again just downriver from Downtown to return to our harbor.
Can I view the boats before I book a charter?
Yes, we are happy to take you on a tour of our boats. Please call our office to schedule an appointment.
Where do I park?
We have plenty of free, well lit, and off street parking available for our guests at Queen City Landing. Parking conditions at other boarding locations is out of our control, and may vary.
Are there nearby hotels to stay in?
There are many nearby hotels here in the Cincinnati area in which you can stay. You can click here for more information about the hotels in the area.
Is entertainment provided?
Our vessels are equipped with sound systems, and we will usually have background music playing. We encourage groups to bring their own CDs as our selection is limited. We can also provide a DJ, band, or any other form of entertainment you would like at an additional cost, or you can bring your own (additional set-up time may be available, but at an additional cost.).
Can I customize my event?
At Queen City Riverboats, we are very happy to help you customize your event to make it a unique experience. The menus and themes that we have provided on our website are our most popular options, but we can provide you with any theme, decorations, entertainment, or menu to make your cruise unique. Please call our Sales Office, and we can help you to personalize your event. Can I bring my own decorations?
Yes but there are some rules that must be followed. Due to fire codes and safety concerns, there can be no open flames on board the vessel, including candles. Candles can still be used as centerpieces, but the wicks must be cut so that they can not be lit. Also, glitter and confetti are not allowed on board. Arrangements can be made to decorate prior to boarding if the vessel will be available. Please contact our Sales Office for more details.
Are you handicapped accessible?
Yes, but in a limited way. Those using wheelchairs and scooters, and others who have trouble climbing steps, may not be able to access the second decks of our boats. They also may require the assistance of our crew while boarding. Our crew is happy to assist all persons to let them experience our boats to the fullest extent possible.
What are your Office Hours?
Although our boats are available any time of day, our Sales Office is not. The Sales Office is open for you to call or drop by Monday - Friday, 9:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. year round.
